NAD+
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is a coenzyme present in almost all cells of the body. Essential in metabolic function, slowing the aging process, promoting athletic function, boosting brain repair and function.
Receiving NAD+ straight into the bloodstream, compared to other routes (i.e. oral) will provide a faster, more effective outcome and quickly optimizes the body’s NAD+ levels.
Although we naturally produce NAD+ it, like most things, decreases as we age. This amazing molecule is mostly regarded for its effect on aging and is considered the closest we’ve gotten to a “fountain of youth”. Intravenous use of NAD+ activates enzymes in the bloodstream called “sirtuins” which promote the “good” aspects of your genes which facilitates staying healthier longer and reducing the side effects of aging.
With intravenous NAD+ therapy, the molecule works rapidly to repair cells throughout the body and neurons in the brain. It serves as a catalyst in ultimate brain renovation, allowing us to mentally reach higher than ever before and can help with overcoming symptoms of depression, anxiety and common mood disorders.
With optimal brain function, you can make everyday a good day.

NAD+ Infusions
Anti-Aging Protocol:
-
THREE separate 250mg IV infusions of NAD+ over the course of 3-7 days
-
Maintenance IV infusions of 250mg as needed
-
Please allow at least 2 hours for each infusion *
Neuroregenerative Protocol:
-
THREE separate 500mg IV infusions of NAD+ over the course of 3-7 days
-
Maintenance IV infusions of 500mg as needed
-
Please allow at least 4 hours for this infusion*
Detoxification & Addiction Protocol:
-
THREE separate 1000mg IV infusions of NAD+ over the course of 3-7 days
-
Maintenance IV infusions of 1000mg as needed
-
Please allow at least 6 hours for this infusion*
Additional Information:
-
Each protocol also includes a Glutathione push at the end of each infusion for MAXIUMUM benefits & results
-
Each protocol requires AT LEAST 3 separate IV infusions of NAD+ on back to back days or every-other-day. Dosing can be adjusted throughout the treatment protocol based on goals and client comfort.
-
Due to extra ATP (adenosine triphosphate) a fuel for your cells throughout your body, NAD+ treatment must be infused slowly as tolerated or it could cause an increase in physiological activity to include but not limited to:
-
Chest pressure
-
Increased muscle excitability
-
Intestinal cramping
-
Light-headedness
-
Nausea
-
-
*The time commitment for these infusions varies and is unique to each individual. The minimum time requirements are averages and some clients are able to infuse more quickly while others require more time based on how they are feeling.
The time committment for NAD+ infusions can be extensive, depending on your dose and how well you tolerate infusion. Some people infuse quickly and others can take several hours.
We now offer the option of Subcutaneous NAD+ injections, at lower dosing than IV infusions, to help when you don't have the time for an IV drip!
9 Surprising Ways Your Body Uses NAD+
1. NAD+ and Aging
Out of all the factors that require NAD+, aging is probably the most significant and least avoidable. By age 60, a person’s NAD+ levels are approximately half of what they were in their 40s. This is simply because our cells make NAD+, and as we age our bodies can’t replace the cells that die as quickly with new ones. However, even if we’re still young and healthy, everything listed below may contribute to this age-related decline in NAD+ as well.
2. NAD+ and Alcohol
Whether you get your buzz out of grapes, barley, potatoes, or molasses, all alcohol is created from sugar. For our bodies to process that after-hours beverage, the alcohol must first be detoxified by enzymes that require NAD+ to function. NAD+ is involved in two steps of this process: first to detoxify the alcohol into sugar, and then to help that sugar turn into energy.
3. NAD+ and Fat
One of NAD+’s most essential functions is energy metabolism. Our cells use NAD+ to turn the food we consume into the energy we need to stay healthy. NAD+ does this by turning into the hydrogen-carrying version of itself (NADH) which aids in burning fats and proteins in the cell.
4. NAD+ and Carbs
NAD+ also turns into NADH to help convert carbs into energy. This is because it plays an important role in glycolysis, the cycle by which our bodies convert sugars into energy.
5. NAD+ and Sleep
The production of NAD+ is one of the many biological processes in our bodies that follows a circadian rhythm. Energy metabolism, hormone regulation, and body temperature variations all rely on a 24-hour cycle as well. NAD+ helps regulate circadian rhythms, keeping them all in sync and working at their best. Which is a good thing because misaligned circadian rhythms lead to things like fatigue, exhaustion and sleep deprivation.
6. NAD+ and Sunlight
We’ve known for years that too much sun can definitely be a bad thing. But one of the reasons why that’s true is because of NAD+. Our cells use NAD+ to help activate sirtuin proteins and to create the cellular energy needed for responding to long-term sun exposure.
7. NAD+ and Muscles
Strenuous exercise requires NAD+ for muscle recovery, while some studies have shown that moderate or light exercise can actually increase NAD+ levels.
8. NAD+ and Sitting
Even someone living a sedentary lifestyle requires NAD+ for basic biological functions like eating, sleeping, and breathing.
9. NAD+ and Breathing
While our bodies need oxygen, the metabolism of oxygen can sometimes affect other parts of a cell through an imbalance known as oxidative stress. Reduced Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH), is an essential electron donor in all organisms. It provides the reducing power that drives numerous anabolic reactions in the body. It is an important part of the body’s defense against oxidative stress, oxygen metabolism depletes NADPH.
With NAD+ being involved in so many processes in our bodies, it’s easy to understand why scientists couldn’t really factor it into their research early. But now that they can safely increase and measure NAD+ levels, they’re looking into just how many ways this one molecule could improve human health, especially in aging and older adults.
